Growth Counseling & Consulting is an outpatient behavioral health agency providing mental health services to children, adults, and families in the State of Oklahoma. Located downtown Main Street in Wilburton, OK, approximately 10 minutes from Robbers Cave State Park and nestled in the San Bois Mountain range. Truly a small town feel with big city heart. Founded by two Licensed Clinical Social Workers in 2018, Growth Counseling is seeking an enthusiastic Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team.
Job Description
Provide outpatient mental health services to child, adults, and families who are experiencing varying levels of mental illness and behavioral issues. Therapeutic services may be provided in various settings to meet the needs of the clients and reduce engagement barriers (e.g., community-based, home-based, telehealth). Therapeutic services may include individual, family, and group therapy and case management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide ethical person-centered, evidence-based outpatient therapeutic services
- Analysis and diagnosis of mental health disorders per DSM-V criterion
- Complete quality assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner
- Maintain client record folder with up-to-date records and forms
- Stay within allotted billing parameters, not to exceed 30 billable hours
- Be flexible in time and location of services to ensure client needs are being met
- Work collaboratively and positively with other staff
- Maintain appropriate licensing board and Growth Counseling’s employment requirements to remain in good standing
- Stay current with updated best practices literature, service delivery, and licensing requirements
- Maintain positive working relationships with service providers in the community
- Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA standards
- Perform other duties not already listed
- Meet monthly with agency clinical supervisor
Minimal Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in behavioral health field from accredited university
- Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification: Current Master’s level behavioral health license from an Oklahoma State licensing board (LCSW, LPC, LADC, LMFT)
- Maintain all documents and requirements for employee file
Compensation
Commensurate with experience.
